Bossard started her commercial seafood career in 1999, after she was hired on board the vessel F/V Sunset. This 65' schooner that was converted into the role of a salmon tender is owned by Murat Aritan. He has been a commercial fishing since 1993. Bossard married Aritan in 1999. The pair have come together in fighting for their company. They both believe in saving and profiting from sustainable resources within the seafood industry. Otolith, a wholesale direct seafood company, was established in the year 2007 by Bella Bossard (age 3), Andre Bossard (1 year old) as well as Bossard's mom.
